July Project: Making Houses Feel Like Homes
| In July, help us meet one of the most common requests we receive from families like this one: bed and bath linens. Together, we can help turn 100 houses into homes. Donation deadline: July 31. 1. Become a Sleep Angel. Create a cozy, comfortable bed and bath bundle in a reusable bag filled with: One new pillow One twin mattress cover One twin sheet set One twin cotton blanket Two bath towels and two washcloths Shop our wishlist, or choose new bed and bath linens you’d love to give. Involve your kids by letting them help select the items and learn the value of community service. Please keep donations gender-neutral, and consider adding a decorative pillow for adults or a stuffed animal for a child to make the space feel extra special. 2. Donate new or gently used twin-size bed and bath linens to help contribute towards a cozy bed and bath bundle for a family in need. 3. Turn blank walls into places of joy. Personal touches make a space truly feel like home. G4G student volunteers have created beautiful artwork to brighten homes, but we need your help to frame and share it. $1,500 will frame 225 pieces of artwork and bring these meaningful touches into homes across our community throughout the year. Donations of any amount help. Or consider sponsoring the entire project! |
Ongoing Projects
NEW!!! Donate fur coats. G4G will send all unwanted fur clothes to sanctuaries to use in the care of orphaned wildlife. You can drop off at any Ally location.
Celebrate a Child’s Birthday. Create a personalized birthday celebration box for a child living in a shelter. Your thoughtful gift brings joy, dignity, and a sense of normalcy to a child on their special day — and it means the world to their family.

Cook/Make a Meal. Turn your love of food into a powerful act of kindness. Prepare and deliver a homemade meal — whether a full dinner or a set of bagged lunches — for residents at local shelters. It’s a simple way to nourish both bodies and spirits.
