Goods for Good is a small but mighty organization, powered by a dedicated team of two full-time staff and a passionate network of volunteer leaders.


Elizabeth Workman
Founder/Director
Elizabeth brings over 30 years of experience in the DC nonprofit sector, with a deep commitment to supporting children, families, and vulnerable communities. She began her career at Sasha Bruce Youthwork, where she spent a decade leading programs for at-risk youth, and later served as Deputy Director of Fair Chance, helping build the capacity of grassroots nonprofits. She holds a B.A. from George Washington University and an M.A. from American University. In 2018, Elizabeth founded Goods for Good — a labor of love inspired by community and fueled by the support of her husband Mark and their two daughters, Maddie and Charlotte.


Diona Boler
Program and Youth Engagement Manager.
Born in Georgia and raised in Washington, DC, Diona holds a degree in Advertising with a concentration in Art Direction from Temple University, along with a certificate in Events and Hospitality. She has worked with several mission-driven organizations, including the Boys & Girls Club – Metro Baltimore as Youth Development Coordinator, and Rebuilding Together DC–Alexandria as Outreach Coordinator, where she focused on community engagement and nonprofit marketing. Diona brings a strong passion for youth empowerment, service, and volunteerism to her role at Goods for Good.

Ally Team
Stacey Bernards, Sue Cohn, Brenda Costello, Mira Coupas, Stacey Marien, Behnaz Mistry, Elaine McElhennon, Barb Power, Patti Macie, and Becky Sachs serve as neighborhood drop-off points, making it easy for community members to donate goods. They are also G4G leaders in their communities—supporting a variety of projects throughout the year and helping to amplify G4G’s mission and impact.

Clothing Captains
Margaret Crandall, Ximena Traa-Valarezo, Willia Hennigan, Renee Blankenou, and Maggie Kennedy (left to right) lead Goods for Good’s clothing services. They manage volunteers, organize donations, fulfill customized clothing orders, and coordinate community pop-up events—ensuring families receive essential items with dignity and care.
